Imagine Dissection playing viking era Bathory, with over the top theatrical and epic clean vocals and occasional 70s hammond organ thrown in for a good measure. Somethign like that. I can think of hundred bands this reminds me of, and yet compare it to none. Simply put, this is the album Conan would put on his headphones while on his way to slay Thoth-Amon in the deepest Stygian dungeons.
