Tabernacle emerged in 2019, with Rayner on guitars and vocals, Jasper on bass, and Shawn on drums. Initially playing a style in the vein of JUDAS PRIEST and ACCEPT, they soon evolved into a darker and heavier machine. Inspired by the mastery of legends like MANILLA ROAD, OMEN, and Viking era BATHORY, the band carved out a sound that was both hauntingly melodic yet crushingly epic

Their 3-track demo, Terror in Thrace, dropped in 2021, and immediately made waves in the underground. Using this momentum, Tabernacle began playing live shows and working on new songs that would eventually find their way into the first album, The Iron Tabernacle

The album builds upon the demo’s foundation, layering in the complexities of progressive titans like FATES WARNING (The Spectre Within) and ADRAMELCH (Irae Melanox). It’s a journey through forgotten wars and ancient bloodshed, where lyrical themes echo with the clash of steel, fallen heroes, and the specter of historical tragedy
