Excalibur, along with fellow SLANDER are the two best bands to ever emerge on the coat-tails of the NWOBHM. One Strange Night is probably the most underrated post-NWOBHM album ever!

This release portrays the band in their teenage years between 1983 and 1985, as they went from demo novices lacking studio experience to a band with a firm musical vision for the recording of “The Bitter End”. A vision that ultimately was not shared by their label Conquest Records, who, unknown to the band, re-remixed the album prior to its release.

On this release you get the proper "Excalibur" mix of the "The Bitter End" as the band envisioned it, as bonus you also get the "Conquest Records" mix, and "Back Before Dawn" 1984 demo. 16 tracks in total, accompanied with monstrous 20-page booklet. Must have!
